Users of Grand River Transit are being urged to think now about other forms of transportation should the bus service be shut down by a strike this week.
Despite reaching strike deadline at 12:01 a.m., both the Region of Waterloo and Unifor Local 4304 continue talks hoping to reach agreement early Monday morning.
That being said, riders are advised to consider other options should the over 600 transit operators, service attendants and skilled trades workers walk off the job.
The region says, in the event of a strike, conventional bus, Bus Plus and MobilityPLUS services will be disrupted.
