By registering for the Unifor Local 4304 Website you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of use (Terms of Service) governing your use and access to the Unifor Local 4304 Website.  These Terms of Service are in place to keep our website secure for our members and to avoid inappropriate use of the information available to members on our website.

Granting of Access

If it is found that a member’s personal information has been used inappropriately to access the Unifor Local 4304 Website, access to the website will be immediately revoked.  Prosecution under available/applicable rules, by-laws or government legislation relating to the inappropriate use of a member’s personal information could be commenced.

By registering for access to the Unifor Local 4304 website you also warrant that the information provided is yours and yours alone.  No member shall knowingly allow their personal information to be used, or use another members information, to register or login to the website.  Each member of Unifor Local 4304 shall register for their own personal account on the Unifor Local 4304 website.

Addition to the Unifor Local 4304 Mailing List

By registering for the Unifor Local 4304 Website you agree that your e-mail address will be added to the Unifor Local 4304 Mailing List.  This list is used to communicate important union-related news, announcements and other information.  However, you also understand that your e-mail address may be removed by yourself at any time, including immediately after registration.  In addition, Unifor Local 4304 agrees to not use the mailing list for purposes other than to communicate union-related news and information and shall not sell, distribute, or provide access to the mailing list to any third-party.

Access and Use of Information

By using the Unifor Local 4304 Website you understand that certain information contained on the website is intended for viewing and downloading by active Unifor Local 4304 members only.  You agree that you shall not allow access to the information contained on the website by individuals other than Unifor Local 4304 members including to members of the general public, members of management, etc.  You also agree that you shall not knowingly provide your website login credentials (username, password, etc.) to any other individual, whether or not they are a member of Unifor Local 4304, these credentials are intended for your use alone.  You also agree that you shall not transmit or provide any information found on the website in any fashion to anyone other than other active Unifor Local 4304 members who are permitted to see that information.

Revoking of Access

By registering for access to the Unifor Local 4304 Website you also agree that if you have been found to have violated these Terms of Service OR if you have left the active membership of Unifor Local 4304, that access to the website will be revoked by the Webmaster and/or Executive Board of Unifor Local 4304.  However, Unifor Local 4304 also agrees not to limit or revoke access to the website due to reasons other than leaving active membership in Unifor Local 4304 OR a clear violation of theses Terms of Service regardless of personal or professional disagreements, political views or affiliations, any reasons under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or any other applicable rules, by-laws or government legislation.

Severability

If it is found that any part of these Terms of Service are not enforceable under applicable rules, by-laws or government legislation, the offending sections shall be deemed to have been removed and the rest of these Terms of Service will continue to be in force as if the offending clauses do not exist.
