Labour Day Picnic 2018

All Unifor Local 4304 members are encouraged to join the Waterloo Regional Labour Council for the annual community picnic in celebration of Labour Day raising money for our local United Way! This family event includes food, face painting, play area, and live music!  Labour Day 2018 also marks Unifor’s 5th Anniversary!

The picnic will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Westmount Road entrance to Waterloo Park in Waterloo, Ontario.  All FREE with a donation to the United Way!

25th Annual Dick Struthers Memorial GRT Golf Tournament

The 25th Annual Dick Struthers Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday, September 16th, 2018 at Grand Valley Golf Club, 1910 Roseville Rd, Cambridge in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation.  Participation is open to members in all Unifor Local 4304 Bargaining Units!

How much?
$100 per golfer

Payment can be made be cash or e-transfer.

Breakfast at 7:30AM
Tee-Time at 8:00AM
Dinner at 1:30PM

2017 Unifor Local 4304 Christmas Party

This year’s Union Christmas party is being held at the Schwaben Club on December 9, 2017. Tickets are available for $20 per person to Union members only and $20 for their partner. Cocktails are from 17:30 to 18:30 and dinner is from 18:30 to 19:30. Music and dance to follow.

A shuttle bus will be available again this year, with times to be announced later. The Schwaben Club is located at 1668 King St. E., Kitchener, but the parking lot is off of Weber St. E. across from Eastwood Collegiate. We are upstairs in the Schwaben Hall, which seats 240 people.

Tickets can be purchased from Dawn Frey, Sonya Taha, Heath Abbott, Angela Ransome, and Lori Miller in Kitchener. We are still looking for people in Cambridge to sell tickets.

We are conducting bake sales and 50/50 draws in support of the Christmas party. The draw will be held on December 8. The bar is a cash bar. Come join your brothers and sisters for a truly festive party!

$30 per guest

Dinner at 3:00PM

Sign up sheets are posted at the Strasburg Garage, Conestoga Garage, Charles Terminal, Ainslie Terminal and Cambridge Centre Station. Payment can be made by cash or money order.
